Junior SEO Specialist
We’re seeking a Junior SEO Specialist to join a dynamic team in the legal industry. The ideal candidate is passionate about learning and applying search engine optimization techniques to improve website traffic, brand awareness, and conversions. You will work closely with our SEO and content development teams to support and implement our organic growth strategy. This position requires strong organizational skills, a willingness to learn, attention to detail, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing optimization strategies to increase the company’s website search engine rankings.
- Support the execution of tests, collection, and analysis of data and results to help identify trends and insights for maximum ROI.
- Collaborate with the web development and content teams to ensure SEO best practices are applied.
- Help drive SEO efforts in content creation with the editorial team.
- Assist in ongoing keyword research, discovery, and optimization for use throughout the company website and marketing materials.
- Support the research and implementation of search engine optimization recommendations.
- Help create and execute link-building strategies.
- Assist in optimizing website architecture, content, and linking to improve SEO rankings for target keywords.
- Monitor daily performance metrics using SEO tools like Google Analytics to track and report SEO performance.
- Stay updated with SEO trends and algorithm changes.
Qualifications And Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or relevant work experience.
- At least 1 year of hands-on SEO experience.
- Basic understanding of SEO and SEM best practices.
- Familiarity with keyword research, on-page SEO, and web content optimization.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and basic familiarity with SEMrush or Moz.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with WordPress and basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
- Eagerness to learn and stay current with SEO trends and strategies.
Basic Requirements
- Device Specifications: Intel i5 processor or higher with a minimum of 8GB RAM
- Equipment: Webcam, speakers, and a microphone or headphones
- Internet Speed: Minimum of 100Mbps with a backup connection for outages
Work Details
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Pacific Standard Time | Tuesday to Saturday, 12 AM to 8 AM Manila Time
Location: Anywhere in the Philippines
