Web Developer
We are looking for a skilled web developer with experience in modern JavaScript technologies (such as Node. js and React. js) to join our growing development team. For this role, you will be responsible for creating high-performance web applications, handling everything from server-side logic to delivering exceptional user interfaces.
The ideal candidate is well-versed in both front-end and back-end development, passionate about writing clean, maintainable code, and driven to deliver innovative and engaging web experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the development team to turn project requirements into high-quality web applications.
- Contribute to brainstorming and architectural discussions to ensure scalable, maintainable, and performant code.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and share best practices with the team.
Web Application Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive and high-performance web applications using React.js and Node.js.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient full-stack code, adhering to best practices and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and third-party services to enhance application functionality.
Front-End Development:
- Build and maintain dynamic user interfaces using a focus on reusable components, state management (Redux, Context API), and efficient rendering.
- Implement responsive design and ensure the application performs well across devices and browsers.
Back-End Development:
- Build and maintain server-side logic, databases, and APIs.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Integrate front-end applications with back-end systems and databases, ensuring smooth data flow and performance.
Optimization & Maintenance:
- Optimize application performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
- Maintain high standards for application security and data integrity.
- Continuously monitor, maintain, and improve existing applications.
Testing & Documentation:
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability and robustness of code.
- Document technical specifications, code, and APIs for internal teams and future development.
Qualifications And Skills
- Proven experience in web development with expertise in Javascript frameworks and libraries such as React.js and Node.js.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and modern JavaScript features.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
- Proficiency with RESTful API design and integration.
- Hands-on experience with front-end state management libraries such as Redux or Context API.
- Expertise in server-side technologies, such as the Express.js framework for Node.js.
- Solid understanding of database systems, including both relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
Basic Requirements
- Device Specifications: Intel i5 processor or higher with a minimum of 8GB RAM
- Equipment: Webcam, speakers, and a microphone or headphones
- Internet Speed: Minimum of 100Mbps with a backup connection for outages
Work Details
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Pacific Standard Time | Tuesday to Saturday, 12 AM to 8 AM Manila Time
- Location: Anywhere in the Philippines
